I let my nephews play with my toys and even bought them some Mcfarlane toys from Halo, Destiny, Walking Dead, and even NECA stuff. Along with the normal action figure lines like Hasbro and Jazwares.
For Christmas, i've always asked them what they really like that their parents wouldn't buy them and, invariably, it's horror and super violent shit. The only time they never got to keep their present was when one of them got the Stephen King IT book from her grandpa. She could watch the movie, play with these gorey toys, but wasn't allowed to read the 1000 page book.
Pretty shit, considering i was reading Stephen King when i was 10 years old. Bad writer and i didn't even like him back then.
Also, she didn't even know who Satan was. My brother's wife is that shit. She also didn't like that their daughter is left handed and tried to drill it out of her.
