So Nestle made their own Magic chocholate ball, got licenses to Disney and Pokemon characters and started to sell in the US market. Kinder was afraid of getting a serious competitor so they where the ones to point out the 'no inedible stuff in food' rule to the FDA and got the chocolate surprise egg concept banned in the US.
Nestle renamed their product the Wonder ball, replaced the toy inside the chocolate ball with candy and put a sticker in the box, but it wasn't as popular.
