>>8589447I looked up what it actually comes with and it's half as many as a Mezco, so i'm going with my original statement that it should cost $30-40.
>when the market is stupidly nichedumb. The anime market is smaller in the US and shit doesn't cost as much, and includes way more. See also how much WB's DC movies sell or the Castlevania series. Still costs ~$20 for original works.
In the toy front, go see how McFarlane crawled from being a niche toy company to getting the license to launch mass market toylines with the Halo, Walking Dead, & DC. NECA tried to do the same with Pacific Rim (failed to get Walmart acceptance), but they've gotten rich enough to buy a chain of stores across America (lol failed), and buy up other companies (kidrobot, wizkids, etc). They became larger companies that expanded by making mad cash selling their niche toys at fair prices.
So you're completely wrong in many ways, because you need to defend how red and flaccid your asshole is.
>A fucking Hasbro employee came in here and put all these shit in public! No one's talking about Hasbro and nothing that guy said was ever a secret. Everyone's know that since shit started being made overseas. Many comic & toy magazines reported on this "secret" since the 90s. There's been literal ton of films made reporting & documenting shit in the mainstream.
>ain't gonna sell on general releaseLOL, bullshit. Gamestop, Barnes and Nobles, and many other retailers carry that shit. Having an entire market to fund these things shouldn't make them cost that much even when they're niche. The fact that niche companies exist in the US that also sell similar products to the same niche market (Mezco, DCC, etc).
>they still have a little plaque that says "PENDING LICENSE APPROVAL"?Fucking clueless. It has nothing to do with the actors. ALL Products have ALWAYS needed to get the approval of the licensor whether it's an ice cream pop or a fucking magnet of a logo
