I think FT spoiled me by giving us a Grimlock that actually manages to cover the mess of folded up junk on his inner calves. The worst part is they didn't even do anything particularly impressive or clever to do it. It's literally just a big fucking panel that folds over it and there's no real reason GP couldn't have just copied the idea.
The other Dinobots at least have an excuse for their legs because in most cases, there are things to add visual interest that still look like coherent techy bits that belong but with Grimlock, it just blatantly looks like the exposed inner parts of a toy that you're not really supposed to look at.
It's a damn shame because I WANT to like it but it ruins the aesthetic so much for me.
