I work in a design shop and all of my coworkers in their 20s and 30s are buying Lego. One has flower sets on her desk, another has citizen brick figs on his billboard. It's a normoid hobby now since all of the adults that grew up with it want to have fun little models to build. It's akin to buying a puzzle, model or card game.
