I think I should have posted my question here:
I recently bought what I thought was a legit wind waker nendoroid, but it turned out to be a bootleg instead. I got my payment refunded, but I still have the broken bootleg.
I figure I can repaint this into a classic Link, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I come from building/painting miniatures and models - can I just soak it in simple green or power purple to eat away any paint and then prime all the parts, or do I just give it a good wash then prime over all the parts?
Will my acrylic paints work if I give the figure a good clear coat after painting?
Also how do i fix or get new joints for heads? Pictured is the broken fake one that came with the figure.
