>>10264117We're probably talking about a miniscule difference that one would never notice, but is just enough to make these electronics not function properly. The activate switch on the wand is what's making everything power off for people with this problem. That switch turns on the rumble motor in the wand, and clearly the increased power draw is proving to be too much for the batteries which have this connection issue to handle. I highly recommend just ditching the Ds and getting this Talentcell regardless.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M7Z9Z1NSeveral people are selling the necessary cable for around $12, and the Talentcell is less than $30. It's a very easy mod which will save you money in the long run.
>Importany safety tip: Unplug the USB cable before charging the Talentcell to ensure you don't fry your shit. The Talentcell is 12V, but outputs 5V if using the USB port. The Hasbro pack is built to take 5V, so the Talentcell is safe to use with it via the USB port, but it charges via a 12V AC port. If the Talentcell is on and connected to the pack while charging you could fry your electronics. Making sure the pack and Talentcell are off before charging should be enough to keep the pack safe, but if the USB isn't plugged in while charging there is zero chance of the pack getting fried, so that's the most surefire way to not fuck your shit up.
