>>7818490Thanks. I do wonder about the amount to use. If I want something to look really quite old and abused, you'd think it would be more chipped even at that scale. Then again, in looking at abandoned ships, they seem to just rust straight to hell while the paint remains mostly intact. I guess I'll have to try to replicate that: Ie small chipping, lots of rusting.
I've been considering doing the rust by using the vinegar and steel wool trick to create real rust and just sort of painting it on from the top down and letting it settle where it wants, since that should be where it would rust naturally.
>>7818599Thanks, I'll try that out. I saw that was the process they use in the "Paint on plastic" series and I tried it out last night. Seems to be pretty good. I'll probably use that for edges along with sponge for more high wear areas.
