Mega Construx made 26 sets, they didn't sell great and can still be found at Ollies and other discount stores.
Also Diamond Selects is still doing Star Trek figures even after their wide chain releases in 2013
And Playmates sold figures at mass retail during Star Trek reboot, they didn't sell well.

But I get that's why you stress the into Darkness film because otherwise the narrative is clear, 5 companies between 2009 and 2014 couldn't make good profits off Star Trek toys.
