I assumed they were both pronounced and spelled the same- yeah it's pronounced the same... but I'm seeing an occasional spelling with a different letter pronounced say, like Saint Seiya. Maybe try to find a subbed episode of an early Transformers/BW cartoon. I'll mention findings the next time I watch more Car Robots.
