Asking people with experience with 3D printing, epoxy, and recasting.
I'm planning a custom of both Brawl and Swindle since the official versions look pretty much the opposite of what the characters should look like.
For Swindle, my plan is to use the Sunstreaker mold and 3D model and print a new back for the robot mode, a jeep front and a jeep trunk. The chest would be resculpted since I want to keep as much of the stock plastic as possible working with the joints. On that note, the back might not be 3d printed either if I find a better way to make it look like part of a jeep.
For Brawl I plan on using the CW Rook mold, 3D model a new vehicle armor and possibly a turrent, and recast the threads on UW Nosecone in epoxy for the tank threads like in pic related.
My question here is, can those materials, epoxy and 3d plastic, stand the task of becoming part of a transforming figure?
