They lose steam at 5 and 6, but mainly because movie turtle stuff filled some of the slots, but also some of the mutants in year 6 weren't as interesting: a camel, a giraffe, a dalmatian. Those mutants would have been fine if they spread them out with some cooler characters in there, and then after that they basically killed the line with excessive random gimmick turtles. I always wondered why Lord Dregg and some of the villains from the final seasons of the cartoon hadn't made it into the toy line? They would have kept things fresh, and I would have bought more as a kid at that time, but I didn't really have a need or demand for a lot of those Anime turtles and Jim Lee Turtles, and Turtles piloting EXO SQUAD Mainframes.
