Last week I wanted to go to a toy faire in my city, but every step of the way I was running into roadblocks to fuck me over, so in the end I was not able to go. My girlfriend wanted to cheer me up today so she brought me around to a couple of stores that recently opened which we hadn't gotten to go to yet. My hope was that I would find something Mighty Max, a specific Marvel Legends figure, and at the game store I hoped to find Rumble Roses for the PS2.
All three happened for me! A CIB Mighty Max set, the Marvel Legends figure I wanted (they actually didn't have many Legends, so it was some kind of miracle that they had the specific one I was after), the game store had Rumble Roses, and on top of that the Alf plush I ordered on eBay finally came in.
Today was a cool day.
