>>9553412I think they started with G because of the action heavy aspect. This was early Figuarts days and they didn't know what should be action figures outside of Kamen Rider.
After they got their shit together with anime sculpts, which by the way is quite recent, the failures they had mostly by poor IP choices IMO might have kept them from diving into the rich pool of Gundam characters. I'm not sure how much that Master Asia failure affects decisions today.
We might be getting SEED though. Unicorn I don't think people care for the pilots. Wing was only popular to America and fujyoshi for Japan. Not really the main targets for action figures
