1. buy a very expensive kit which has no other alternatives available and likely won't for a long time, may go out of production and if I bought it I'd likely not build it immediately because I don't have the confidence to do it justice, the kit subject is one I'm more passionate about than any other
2. buy cheaper kits first of different subjects and risk the above kit going out of production so I can get a few more projects under my belt
I can buy it now but if I do the 2nd then I'm going to only be able to buy it close to the end of the year
It's not an absurd amount of money but it would be the most I've ever spent on a model kit (300 USD)
