I think they kinda changed their philosophy from "modeled after the suit actor" to "modeled to look like someone was wearing the actual suit."
Because if it were the case that it'd be modeled after the suit actor, we'd need to see bits of a belly for the main riders since Takaiwa is quite a hefty man.
