>>11058738Bro you really getting silly here. Revolver joints are a little restrictive by nature, but once you get used to them, you can do so much with them. Yamaguchi is known as a king of posing, and he did that for so many years with those exact joints. Just because you didn't put in the time and effort to learn to use them well doesn't mean they're bad. The joint was quite innovative for its time, allowing for swivels on either side of every joint and line-wide part modularity (the latter was a big deal, we used to have regular SCIENCE! threads where people would just mash up Revo parts to make stuff).
Also, them abandoning the joint for AY means nothing except that they decided to change things up after like 15 years. They don't wanna just stand still, they want to continue improving. Simple as, it's not like some admission that the joint sucked or something.
Lastly, if you really wanted, you could replace all of Raiden's joints with the wave joints I mentioned earlier, and he will essentially feel like a Figma after. But that's up to you.
