Thanks for reminding me of his name. I can't give this guy enough credit. He really is a talented designer. His trooper designs are some of the best since Revenge of the Sith (like some other Anon said). The Death Trooper alone might be one of the coolest designs in the OT, and in my mind is iconic.

IMO, it's the model kit. No work has to be done for it to be great. Just build it and admire. I would recommend two, since you can have the normal Death Trooper and commander.

BS is way too skinny and the weapons are crap, SHF is way too small for what it should be. I don't own the Mafex but I do hear its solid.

While cool, I am more interested in an SH Figuarts Bespin Luke Skywalker. I hope they start pumping out ESB merch soon. It's universally thought of as the best Star Wars film and basically the only thing fans can fucking agree on.

The model kit is a tad bit taller than the Black Series Death Trooper. I just compared the two, since I own SHF, BS and the model kit.

The main benefit with the model kit is you get so many high quality looking weapons. I also think it looks way, way better than the BS and even the SHF. SHF is pretty short also.

The new Chewbacca and the Mimban Stormtrooper looks pretty great, but I am going to wait until I see the movie first. I have a feeling it's going to suck.

I think you are wrong about your whole set up. I'm sorry, I think a lot of old school Star Wars fans liked Rogue One. I know I sure as hell did.

I personally don't collect pops and crap like that. So I don't think it's a fair measurement to base the character on. I do not own a single figure of Jyn Erso.. Why? The Black Series more often than not, makes horrible faces of human type characters.

Guess how many " human " figures I have from the Black Series? One. That would be Thrawn.

Thanks. I have two Bandai model kits, one SH Figuarts and one Black Series figure. I like them all, but the model kits are my favorite, and the Black Series is the weakest.

I really think the model kits are amazing, with nothing done to them at all.
