Back of the box says there's 24 adult characters which is actually pretty decent
I'm very cynical about the usefulness of the camera or tama social, but if there's good character variety and there's enough things to do with games, jobs, cooking, furniture etc it could still be a decent release. Back in the connection era the US devices were always more fleshed out than the equivalent japanese devices, they lost their way in the 10s but maybe this is the start of something new.
