>>7532519>Checklisters ("MUST HAVE EVERY C-LISTER CHARACTER FROM THIS COMIC FRANCHISE REGARDLESS OF HOW SHITTY")yep that's me, at least sort of . I'm not into comic book figures, but I understand the concept I think. like having losers characters and other literally whos and villains prop up the heroes. These type of characters usually exist in every series in some form and they can be fun to collect. Obviously the designs have to be good though.
>Sculptfags ("Who cares if this figure has incredible articulation? They shaved a micrometer off of his iconic elbow crease! It's shit! REEEEEE!")yeah I can kind of relate. I love incredible articulation, but to be honest I also don't mind if an incredible sculpt gets in the way (preferrably the theoretical articulation would still be there however)
>>7532533>People who collect stuff I don't like.yep that's me
>>7541376>Hasbro collectorsyep nothing wrong with hasbro. Well, maybe they suck now. I'm not a hasbro-only collector but I like what they've done in the past.
>>7541426yeah neca looks pretty cool.. been thinking of buying a few alien figures..
>>7547637>reeeee it's shiny instead of matteyeah I tend to repaint stuff, especially if something thats supposed to resemble cloth is shiny colored plastic.
>>7547646yep I totally understand this guy
overall the characters and designs are important, I'm not too worried about the company that makes them, just as long as they look correct to the source material. I hate stylized garbage. I hate anything that takes an artistic license when it's not necessary. (If it's necessary it's fine)
articulation = sculpt > paint (you can always repaint or touch up your figures but redoing the articulation let alone improving the sculpt is usually out of the question)
>>7547675>5poa next to super articulatedprobably not literally 5poa, but yeah I could see myself doing something like this if it's an old figure with no better one available
