-Two guys who used to be friends fight against eachother (Wu vs Gamraddon, Lava vs Kragger, Ekimu vs Makuta) to claim something (golden weapons, The power of Chi, golden masks and MoUP
Later they join together against a common enemy (Overlord, Sir Fangar)
I find it very likely that this happens with Ekimu and Makuta too and the MoUP is revealed to be an entity with a mind of it's own.
