I used to keep toys in one big plastic box like the one in your image and they all got fucked up.
Paint from one toy would start rubbing off on another toy. Before you know it on toy was missing paint while the other was permanently stained with marks. I would lose all the accessories if they fell out of the toys hand or they would bend and warp.
It was just a mess but I was a kid back than and I didn't know that a toy box would eventually fuck up my toy collection.
