Glad to have found this thread! I recently recovered my old army men from my parents and started collecting again. The childhood wonder combined with my adult appreciation for the history and craftsmanship behind these little plastic guys has made it such a fun hobby.
I'm looking for help identifying a couple figures that have been in my collection since the early 2000s. Pic related. I don't know where they came from, pretty sure they were a garage sale find. No markings other than "china" on the bottom of the bases. They're about 48mm tall. Anyone know what manufacturer or set these might have come from?
I'll be glad to reward any help with some pics of the 1/32 scale city I've been putting together with scraps of foam core from my workplace.
