You might not be able to see the subtle purple due to your phone or monitor settings (or heck, even just your eyesight). I did not modify the colors at all in this image, just changed the levels and saturation so you could see the hues more easily.
Speaking of accuracy though, now that I look at your screencap Robo is actually quite glossy. He's reflecting light quite sharply in the silver portions of his suit. Have we ever gotten a glossy Robo toy? I feel like he's always depicted as a rather dull/flat silver with no reflectivity.
