Okay, finally got my package. Some notes right off the bat:
- Freebies for me were an olive green Cray and a trans orange Extra set ( Sarvos chest, Sarvos head, Scar Phey head). Not sure if the latter was because I bought Pheynoid, or if it was an additional extra because I made multiple orders and paid extra shipping costs. Or heck, maybe everyone got both extras.
- Pheynoid is WAY cool, but I don't like that the scarf is painted black and rubs up against his chest tampo. I suspect this will lead to paint rub over time. I don't see another way this could have been done since Matt didn't run black plastic this wave, but it's still kinda rough.
- It might just be my imagination, but these look and feel like the thickest, gummiest painted Glyos figures I've ever gotten. The paint just seems glopped on heavily, and this is the first time I've ever gotten frozen joints stuck with paint.
Lastly, this isn't my pic, but god all the Adventure People colorways look great together, and they instantly signal my brain that's what they are at a glance. Sign of good homages. I wish we could keep going, but I think Matt has burned through all the "interesting" AP, aside from maybe the suited alien, which would probably be a black and silver figure with a neo voss head.
