>>10490872I've seen it used on youtube a few times. Usually its in the context of the 'hobby' being shortened for time instead of saying 'toy collecting hobby'. I've seen people use it in the context of it being a collective being or something, like 'not sharing your collection is bad for the hobby' or some weird cult-like mentality. I just assume they are not thinking when they post those things, or use it as a shield to defend their insecurities. No one's ever challenged them on it, so they probably don't know what they are doing.
