>>5901171> Her not lookinh like our dragons is the least of the problems. And Clawdeen doesn't look like a werewolf. And Abby doesn't look like a yeti. And Venus doesn't look like a monster flytrap plant. Most of the MH girls don't look like the monster they're sourced from. Your point?
>She doesn't even look Chinese.Applying physical racial tropes to a fictional monster that's not human? Who's the racist now?
>Wrong facial features, wrong body type. You do realize that these dolls have to have a standard size & shape so as clothes & accessories fit them, right?
>And there's the silly restaurant waitress fashion...What restaurant do you go to? Because all the Asian restaurants here have their waitresses in standard white shirts & black slacks.
>>5901178>Always wearing a cheongsam if they're Chinese or a kimono if they are Japanese. The vast majority of people in these countries do not actually wear these clothes on a day to day basis.Because if they T-shirts & jeans, they could be from anywhere. Wearing a cheongsam or kimono is a great visual aide to determine on the spot from what culture they're from.
BTW, it isn't "racist" to dress them in culturally appropriate attire. Consumers like dolls wearing unique fashions that separate them out from the other dolls. Gives them a background & character. If you're bitching for more diversity in dolls, shouldn't that go for their clothes as well? Or do you want them all dressed in boring, universally standard clothing, like jeans & T-shirts? That's not a fashion doll in my book.
You bitches can never be satisfied.
