This seems to be common with Mistercraft. The bottom part of the seat is just molded into the cockpit tub.
Also I'd be okay with the cockpit having no instrument detail at 1:72 if there were decals, but this piece of shit doesn't even have those.
Interestingly the kit uses a two-seater UM cockpit tub and fuselage halves, and the Su-22M3 fuselage spine will cover the rear cockpit. This is the same way the real M3/M4 variants were designed, they took the UM and deleted the rear cockpit. That's why they have such poor rear visibility.
