>>6227645>As for the film, I am disappointJoin the club. Only good thing to come out of the film for me was the beautiful dolls, and merch. I don't even get why people make such a big deal out of the song "Let it Go". To me it sounds like a generic pop song you would find at the end of a Glee/High School Musical soundtrack. I just enjoy the way Anna, Elsa, Hans, Kristoff, and Olfa look which is why I like buying their merch. The CGI in the film looks nice, but it could have also looked just as nice as a 2D film.
> If I’m reading between the lines from the “Art Of” book and “Making Of” documentaries, there was a massive plot shift when the “Let It Go” song> The Powers That Be at Disney ordered Elsa to change from antagonist to protagonist You don't have to read between the lines or guess who made the changes. If you watch "The Story of Frozen Making a Disney Animated Classic" documentary John Lasseter straight up said he made the change, because Elsa reminded him of his daughter, and there for he didn't want her to be the Evil Ice Queen of the story as she was originally written to be. The song lost it's true meaning, and Elsa just "Accidentally" creates a large snow man monster to kill Anna, and Kristoff, and she only "Accidentally" shoots her sister Anna in the heart with her ice magic which causes Anna to slowly die. Good evil snow queens can be so clumsy sometimes, am I right?
>That fucked things up royally, story-wise. >Han’s third act reveal to be psychopathic monologue spewing bad guy just feels like cop-out because the writers couldn’t think of anything better to tie things up.>Hans did nothing wrong.Agreed 100%
If you think it's bad now just imagine in about 10yrs when the little girls who grew up with this shit fest of a film become nostalgic adults who will fight tooth, and nail in order to defend "The Best Disney film of All Time"
>>6227646> Maybe I’ll do a third installment sometime in the future. Please do.
