>>10450807>stupid anecephaly brain stalkI don't consider that piece stupid, as IIRC it had an axle hole in the back, giving a (one or maybe two) potential uses that the metru brainstalk doesn't have, making it non-redundant in my eyes. Two of them could be connected back to back for an extra long brainstalk, though I'm not sure how good that looks (I haven't tried doing that first-hand). This is just a guess, but I think the metru brainstalk jutting out might look like a weak spot (more vulnerable due to looking unprotected by skull/metal) to some people, possibly providing a trade-off in appearance.
