Wizard Rod and its consequences have been a disaster for Beyblade X. They have greatly increased the win rate of those of us who blade under the “meta”, but they have destabilized the playing field, have made blading unfulfilling, have subjected rogue bladers to indignities, have led to widespread psychological suffering (in the junior player community to physical suffering as well) and have inflicted severe damage on tournament spectators. The continued development of heavier beys will worsen the situation. It will certainly subject bladers to greater indignities and inflict greater damage on the game, it will probably lead to greater game rules disruption and psychological suffering, and it may lead to increased physical suffering even in “advanced” decks.
