The ones you're showing is so easy to do here's my Stormtrooper doing it. My Ultron can ALMOST do it, but the plastic sculpt in the front only gets his leg up to about 15° from going all the way flat. The back leg can go above his waist.
Here's about as much as i can get my Bulma to do the traditional splits. She can go a little more further, but I'm afraid of breaking something.
