>>8588875Hasbro and Mattel aren't collector companies, and aren't really sold in the same market as NECA's stuff (in terms of how they're sold and licensing is concerned, not literally). Other companies in the collectors market are Boss Fight, 4 Horsemen, Mezco and other shit that /toy/ talks about but you won't see in your local Walmart.
>>8588877>>8588884>6 out of 230948234 figures Literal cherry picking.
So they cost less because they're old molds then? Or are they new, but re-re-reused like Hasbro's figures?
>It was always about production numbers affecting price. But that's a lie. If you want to go by production numbers, then having your toys official sold in the US would put them. As shown, every one that got an official release had an MSRP similar to the Japanese MSRP, with only some Dragonball figure costing ~$30 because it was old and had already previously been released for $50-60.
>no I'm not really convincedAgain, look at the size of the compaines and/or net worth. Everything points toward them selling figures in the tens of thousands.
IF they sold more than that and still kept a small amount of employees, companies like NECA wouldn't have headquarters like this and they would have muuuuch nicer cars parked outside.
