>>10434209Man there's something really fascinating to me how NoJ leaned into the western aesthetics with Metroid. From stuff like the Metroid 2 commercial being themed like a comic book, to this action figure promo done all in english,to the Zero Mission art direction having heavy black shading like a comic book. I don't consider it particularly like the usual perception of an American comic, maybe the UK's 2000 AD. Just interesting to think that's how the Japanese interpret it.
