I actually like a lot of things about Pridak, the weapons, the head and the feet, the way he's shaped like a shark in "swimming mode". The execution is lacking in various ways though. The torso and the limbs feel too barebones. Using pre-bent Nuva limbs as lower arms was a weird choice. The fin on his back is connected in a weird way and sticks out awkwardly. Overall looks unfinished and kinda like some MOC build.
>9: Mutran and Vican
This one feels like a lazy afterthought to the Phantoka wave. Not terrible but not good either. His simple humanoid Makuta build with wings on the back kinda worked with Antroz, but with Mutran it doesn't feel like there was a lot of thought put into it. I also dislike the weapons.
>8: Mistika Gali
I guess simply reusing the Inika build with some variations and new parts still worked with the Mahri, but here it was getting kinda old. The only Toa set I liked from the Mistika wave was Onua, but I still don't think he looks like Onua at all, possibly was designed to be a new version of Nuparu initially. I liked Gali's unique shoulder pads, the overall silhouette and the color scheme, but they weren't enough to save this set. Most people hated the mask, not my favourite one either, but I was okay with it. No proper weapons whatsoever.
>7: Mistika Tahu
Bland. Boring build, no interesting new pieces. The weapons suck. The mask is far from great, but it's an okay one, I guess. Doesn't look like Tahu at all.
>6: Glatorian Skrall
This one demonstrates the best way why I dislike most 2009 sets. The designers tried to give him a more unique and weird silhouette and a more expressive color scheme, but somehow it just didn't work. Something makes him look extremely bland and flat compared to canister sets from earlier years. Also the weapon looks like a MOC of some twelve years old kid.
