I enjoyed Lego best when the sales point for the new set was new hair pieces, torsos prints, or other parts that I could use for MOCs, in affordable sets.
take this Wicked set, 2 new hair pieces, the other one was in only in an expensive Tangled set. do I care about mini dolls? not really. but it's only $30 and maybe I can do something with that coral boat? (I bought it on clearance for $15, it was a total score!)
"good" Lego sets are still being made, but it's hard to ignore the $300+ sets, why does Lego themselves have to rage bait me in the actual store?
