It's mostly just retards who repeat this, because Hasbro is focusing on 1:11 lines and that means 1:18 doesn't sell. Which ignores that so many other lines exist.
If anything, 1:12 is probably in a decline. Jazwares dropped their 1:12 Fortnite line and is focusing on 1:18 Fortnite.
There are no more 1:12 DC lines, with Mcfarlane doing ~1:10 (they also seemed to have dropped their Fortnite line) and Spinmasters making ~1:18 DC figures.
Then there's companies like this making actual 1:18 instead of those funny looking blocky toys.
