Really, the only vote that messed up everything was Metallic Blue winning for the main colors. I mean, it's a nice color and all, but it didn't really suit the character or any of the prevailing concepts at the time. However I think the idea of having a blue character be the second FanEx to fight the first Red colored FanEx winner took hold of enough people to sway the vote. I won't say she's atrocious or horrible, and I have sat on the fence about grabbing her (the whole magic treasure hunter bit helps) but I'm pretty sure I'm ultimately going to pass on her.
That said, I wasn't a fan of the first FanEx either, as he just came out to being a red Gorgo. The "Viking Hero" concept just seemed much more interesting to me to the point I'm surprised the 4H hasn't done one yet.
>>6825565I don't think he looks bad at all, but I mix some old Toybiz LotR stuff and other random figures with my Legions so who am I to judge. If it helps, they are coming out with a 9" "Ogre" class of figures for the line, so he'd easily fit right in with them.
>>6825728If you don't have any of the bird figures, I say get him. They're not perfect (they do have a tendency to fall down over time) but they are a lot of fun. The biggest weakness for the birds is the reused body, but having a small amount of them would negate that problem. I have the good Colonel and I think he's great, especially if you give him a nice big greatsword. Ideally, a trio of those guys would really look good together, especially if you get ones with complementary color schemes.
