I need some tank help This'll be a 2 part post.
So, amdist all the hype over Classified Series, I am low-key betting back into 1/18 Joes too, and I really want to get something to represent a main battle tank for GI Joe and Cobra but I'm torn whether to go "authentic" or try to get an Abrams for the Joes and a modified T90 painted black. Even though the T14 would be more fitting for Cobra since their stuff is usually a generation newer, here's not much in the way of scale T14s and probably won't be for a very long time.
I was eying this RC 1/16 M1 Abrams from Heng Long but it's pretty expensive, and I'm not sure if 1/16 would be too large to be believable with the Joes and their vehicles. Including the barrel it's about 2' long, which makes it about 5" longer than the Elite Forces M1. I don't know if the Elite Forces M1 is 1:1 with the figures or if it's scaled down though. The desert tan version is quite reasonably priced, but the forest green one goes for significantly more.

Basically I'd be looking at a huge ass investment if I wanted to get both, and that's if they are even believable in scale with GI Joes.

It would need a lot of love to make it look like something worthy of being a Joe vehicle, and I'd have to find something in a similar size / price range that I could use as a Cobra MBT.
