I'm impressed I managed to get this guy back to robot mode without needing the instructions again. As complicated as he is most of his parts only really fold up one way and there's no clearance problems, it's just a LOT of steps and most of them aren't really obvious until after doing it the first time and you have these giant arms and legs flopping around as you're trying to do it. The only really tricky part is the cab/torso transformation, it's just a TON of little folded up panels and I'm not even really sure where everything actually tabs into in the end, just that eventually it'll click in place and stop flopping around if you keep kind of mashing parts together.
I will say though I have no fucking idea why the instructions tell you to do the arms first going to vehicle mode that's dumb as fuck, the last thing you want while transforming this guy is having giant elongated arms flopping around. Save them for after you get the legs set up so you can lock them in place.
QC seems fine for me, the only real problems I found with him on mine are
>his shoulder joints have a major tendency to catch on the outer plastic which makes it a pain in the ass to pull them out fully. I fixed it by opening them up and rounding off the edges of some plastic to make them slide past each other better but it was annoying.
>The forearm sliders are absurdly tight and I ended up disassembling them to trim down the locking nubs so I could actually move them to the various positions without feeling like I'm trying to break him
>I have no idea why his ankles lock into position when straight (and they lock TIGHT) so I just cut off the locking ridge in his inner shin entirely.
>the little mechanism to push the trailer wheels out when you transform his feet are really stiff so I disassembled them to loosen the screw holding the wheel mechanism thing. It also a pain in the ass getting the feet back together after taking them apart, especially the foot with the flip out clip.
