The .org's blacklist function is routinely abused to help "shape" the fandom and remove posters that are considered "annoying" or "problematic" (fans of elements that the majority doesn't like) by isolating them until they just give up and leave of their own volition. This passive aggressive bullshit approach is why I'm pretty much a fan without a fandom.
