Something worth noting is that chap mei did a few monster lines back in the day. Pic related was apart of their " Adventure Heroes" mummy attack line. Given its time of release I wouldnt be surprised if it was made to capitalize on the success of both the Fraser mummy films and Stargate. In retrospect ancient Egypt at
large was quite popular in the early 2000's.
