the HobbyBoss kit is pretty well made, but the individual track links are from Hell.
the Zvezda kit overall is a bit inferior on all counts since the tooling is from the early 90s, but the tracks are link and length, and far easier to deal with.

I used AK chipping fluid which I suppose worked well, had some trouble though as I supposedly wasn't supposed to thin the fluid itself.

well it'd be nice just to see everyone's work.
I haven't made that many models and it's not saying much because frankly it isn't that great to begin with but that T-26 was definitely the best thing I've made so far from start to finish.

are we actually doing this? I was gonna do a submarine once I finish the railings/weathering on HMS Rodney.

she's finally finished, first thing I've completed in over 2 months since U-48 back in mid-August.
on to that Hasegawa Zero I cracked open a few weeks back.
the chipping, mud, and snow stuff can use some work but it was my first attempt with either so obviously it was bound to be fucked in a few ways. was fun either way.
only reason this took so long is because I spent 30% of the time just waiting for stuff to arrive in the mail.
