Keeping the sewed up edges without the wire is a mistake, as it leads to the edges being too heavy and bunching/draping unnaturally. Power Girl's cape is actually too thick, especially given its so short, so she probably should've gotten a single piece of cloth. There is a Tim Drake Robin that has a wire but has a short cape that works well.
