So I picked this big girl up yesterday, and I'm really happy with the way she came out. As anyone who owns the 12" classic doll knows she has thick solid rubber legs which make her as heavy as a paper weight. Thankfully the LE Moana has large hard plastic legs with knee, and ankle joints so shes not ultra heavy.
I know a few people were saying that the new version would have a non-opening necklaces, but you can still open it up to see the map.
I love the changes made to her face which make her look sweeter. They even made the pupil of her eyes bigger in order to not only make her look more like the Moana in the film, but to give her a younger, and more adorable expression.
The cheap hard plastic leaves on her arm, and ankle have been replaced with soft fabric leaves. The detail on her dress is very nice. I love the water droplets on her dress. Sucks that her sidekick pets weren't included, however this version definitely looks more like an LE doll. I'm glad I could add her to my collection.
