>>6354662A combination of assembled and unassembled is how I always see them done and how I do it. Parts that need to be seam welded are assembled only up to wat needs the welding. Other parts like armor bits can be painted without being assembled. Take a closer look at this image. At first glance it looks completely unassembled, but look closer at the thigh piece, assembled and welded I bet. Also looks like a couple of the armored limbs are partially assembled
