I know this is getting into /pol/ territory, but as lovers and collectors of toys, I think we need to take a stand for preserving the innocence of children. In my opinion, that's the most precious time in a person's life, but there are people and organizations who are using toys, cartoons, music, etc. as a way to sexually groom and traumatize children under their own parents' noses. It's not just the gender shit either. There's now a full subset of the toy market that is just overpriced blind-bag shit, which is essentially a scummy way to get extremely young children addicted to gambling. Kids today also absorb tons of free advertising for these types of toys on YouTube. It's really very nefarious when you think about it, because not only do kids not understand the value of money, but blind-bag toys give them the same dopamine rush they get from opening presents on Christmas morning. The "surprise mechanic" is very addictive to children, and that leads into the whole lootbox controversy in vidya. None of this shit existed when most of us were children.
