Alright guys, I just recently got back into building gunpla after a one year hiatus. I think I'm ready to try airbrushing. Ive had this compressor with my iwata hp-c plus and I just realized that all the paints I have are acrylic (tamiya acrylic jar paints). I was wondering if there are any topcoats, mostly flat coats, that I can use to topcoat over the acrylic paint that I would be using. I don't want to resort to using mr.topcoat flat/matt because they're pretty expensive and pretty rare. I have a hobby shop that carries it, and when they have a shipment I usually buy about 6 cans. I think it's time to look for a cheaper alternative. I was thinking of using alclad 2's flat coat but I heard they're lacquer and those two don't mix.
