The strap (made of leather lacing) goes through two holes in the back of the neck while also being glued in place. It then wraps around her chest and clasps together on her back so it's fully removable. Took me all of a half hour and used stuff you can get at most craft stores for like less then $20 bucks.
Also, the elbow cloths and skirt are pieces stolen from a Toybiz LotR Arwen. I got her Rider set to give my Gwendolyne a white horse but threw the figure in the parts bin. When the 4H first showed off the Ice Elf, it was like they made her just so I had someone to use Arwen's parts for. I've said it a hundred times and I'll say it a hundred more, the old Toybiz LotR figures are almost perfectly sized for the Mythic Legions figures to steal all their stuff. I have a box of stripped naked LotR figures, most I've gotten for dirt cheap, because so much of their soft goods or overlay gear can be popped right onto the legions.
