>>5971357thanks so much! and you're absolutely right. while i enjoy hello kitty, there's so much hello kitty and not enough pompom purin in stores! he's such a cutie! the only pompompurin i have is either bought from the sanrio web store, or this one little plush ball keychain i saw at kinokuniya books in new york. i HAD to get that little plush, it was the first time i ever came across a merch of him in person, and of course it was the only one at the shop.
and , again, EXACTLY as you said, sometimes we're lucky to come across cinnamoroll or little twin stars. it's pleasant, but yes, that's about it. and never ever ever san-x. unfortunately. although i feel like rilakkuma will become more and more popular in the coming years which will be good for me, as a rilakkuma enthusiast and collector since 2012, i get excited at the sight of that sweet relaxed bear.
the closest thing ive ever seen to any san-x stuff in real life asides from conventions and japanese US stores, is those little areas in malls where they sell phone cases, and there's rubber (very likely unofficial, but still cute) rilakkuma phone cases, in all different colors. i feel like if i ever do come across a rilakkuma in daily life living in the middle of nowhere, i feel like i'll HAVE to buy it, just like the pompompurin situation. even when it's overpriced, i feel like, the situation has presented itself to me. hehe.
